Anita Briem, an Icelandic actress is well-known. She is most famous for her role as Hannah who she was in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) as well as her role as Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem began her acting career as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. She was a child actor in Iceland, participating in radio and television plays. At 16 Briem was transferred to London where she was part of one of the productions for the theatre of the stage play Lenin in Love in The New End Theater. Briem attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, earning an award in the field of drama.
