Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Acting career began at the age of 12, at which point she began attending open casting auditions in her local area. She began her acting career when she was just 12 years young. The first time she appeared on screen was for Virgin Mobile commercials. Gillies got her first television part as a regular actor for three episodes of The Black Donnellys. She stated that her parents felt it was not appropriate for her to view the show's completeness. (citation required) In 2008 She appeared in small parts in The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. She was cast during that summer in the role of Lucy, alongside Ariana Grande, her co-star from Victorious in Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. In the following year, the Broadway adaptation of 13 was launched, and was the first Broadway show to feature all cast members comprised of teenagers. The show featured the popular numbers "Opportunity," "It Can't Be Real," along with other songs like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and others. Gillies continued to be part of the project through January 4 on the 4th of January 2009.
